Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide complete, accurate, and updated information necessary for billing
- Maintain valid licenses, credentials, and payer enrollments
- Comply with applicable healthcare regulations, including HIPAA
- Grant CoreStone the necessary access to patient records and practice management systems
- Pay for services according to the agreed payment terms
- Notify CoreStone promptly of any relevant business or practice changes
Fees and Payment
Pricing structures vary by service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payments are due within 30 days of the invoice date. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly late fee, or the maximum amount permitted by law.
Confidentiality and HIPAA Compliance
CoreStone operates in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Our protections include signed Business Associate Agreements, staff training, and administrative, physical, and technical security protocols designed to safeguard Protected Health Information.
Service Performance
CoreStone applies industry best practices to maximize clean claim rates and reduce denials; however, billing outcomes may vary based on payer policies, patient eligibility, claim accuracy, and other factors outside our control.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoreStone’s total liability arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for services during the preceding twelve (12) months.
Term and Termination
Either party may terminate a services agreement with 30 days’ written notice. CoreStone may terminate immediately in cases of non-payment, breach of these Terms, fraud, or misrepresentation.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website and materials created by CoreStone remain the property of CoreStone. Clients retain full ownership of their own business data and patient records at all times.
Compliance With Laws
Both parties agree to comply with applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare and Medicaid requirements, and anti-fraud regulations.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiations. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled through binding arbitration.
